Hello good folk of Lewes,
I am new to this forum so please be gentle with me.
Mother and I have moved into the area recently from sunny Crawley, where I was able to indulge in, well, some would say gorge on, my passion of plane spotting.
Are there any other spotters or enthusiasts on the forum?
If you haven't tried it is a very enjoyable past time, where one gets to meet the most interesting and diverse characters.
Thanking you kindly for reading.
Warmest regards etc,
Nigel

Thank you most kindly, TOWNIE.
However, I have long since been aware of this app, so you could say that my boots are already filled, if you get my gist.

Precisely that indeed, Mr Farage.
Of course I am aware there is a lot of sniggering that goes on behind our backs and a misguided belief that we're all badly dressed anoraks with awful dandruff. No Siree, among the people I have met spotting I can count Police Officers, a dentist and even a former page 3 girl!
Am I selling it to you yet?

Come down to the Amex Nigel - you'll meet lots of people there with similar interests.
Lots of us get together on Sundays for outdoor pursuits that can be very stimulating and we often see the planes landing at Gatwick from our vantage points on the Downs

Kind words, Flyer, kind words indeed.
I fear though that Balloonist may be pulling my leg just a little however.
I have no doubt I will encounter some like minded individuals soon. And despite the generous offer, shan't be venturing anywhere near the AMEX just yet.
