Hi everyone!
I am a student visiting your town next January. Probably I will stay there for a week. I am looking for a cheap place to stay from January 5th. I know there are two youth hostels in the area: Telscombe (12.00/night) and Blackboys Bunkhouse (12.95). But I think they are far away from Lewes. Can you please tell me what are these places like, and if it is very complicated or takes a lot of time to move from them to Lewes
Apart from that, could you recommend other places to stay in Lewes, that I could afford during a week.
Thanks a lot.

hi don't know about Telescombe, but do know blackboys is quite away from lewes and yes unless you got a car its an akward place to come and go from if you want to be around lewes.Your best bet is to ring lewes tourist board up and get some info from them or try local pubs that may have ed and breakfast or how about brighton or villages like falmer or offham they are much closer.Good luck

The great thing about the Lewes Forum is it's up to date and lively, you don't have to wait a month to get out of date news
