What a wonderful and truly illuminating article on Phoenix in the paper this week. Only their elaborate costumes make up the processions and without them there would be no charity donations.
It was their intention to walk with the societies during the bonfire season. Which is what they do, having done diddley-sqaut towards all the hard work that goes towards creating those processions and then take all the credit for charity fundraising.
What heroes.
