Do these prats work in the snow? People seem to be parking anywhere forcing me to have to park in a different zone. Or do these chaps have no morals under the current circumstances and issue you ticket regardless?

This is unfair. Parking wardens simply do their job, which is to enforce the regulations about parking in a town which would otherwise be overwhelmed by selfishly parked vehicles. I don't know if they issue tickets to motorists who have had to abandon their cars, I doubt it, but it has nothing to do with their morals!

I agree. Park legally, no ticket. Park illegally, no ticket. Pretty simple.

Parking restrictions can't be enforced if you can't see the bay markings or yellow lines because of snow!

This is not true unfortunately. The restrictions are applicable even if the lines are covered by snow or leaves (as my son discovered to his cost). The roadside signs are sufficient indication of the restriction. If the lines and the signs are not visible you might get away with it, but I doubt it. After all, it is usually possible to scrape the snow away to check if there are yellow lines.

I would suggest just ignoring it local. You don't have to demonstrate your ignorance in every thread. more
