Yes it's very convenient to park here and eat at the wonderful new Italian restaurant. I believe it's called 'Aqua', it's amazing.

I was actually outside Laura Ashley yesterday at 0915 waiting for them to open. I read the signs, looked at the bays and camera. It did strike me that all it would take is a hammer and a reasonably sharp chisel through the power cable on the P&D machine. It is a form of legalised extortion, after all and fighting fire with fire is probably the only solution. I pondered it. Fantasised about coming out in the cover of night in my hoodie. Sadly: (a) Mrs Mark would never allow it. (b) I'm a coward.

People who believe that don't usually post on websites calling themselves 'Direct actionman' and telling other people to do it. They do it.

Interesting response Clifford. As it happens I'm not bothered about parking at Laura Ashley and cutting through power cables would require more nerve than I have but I do generally believe that acting directly rather than expecting someone else to do it can often be the best policy. Btw, direct actionman is not my real name.

Cliford the keyboard warrior has no concept of direct action. Unless putting the kettle on counts.

@above - And your concept of direct action is... what? Direct Action you may be interested to know was the title of a very good anarcho-syndicalist newspaper for many years. I think I may have been involved in more direct action in the form of demonstrations and strikes than you have had hot dinners.

Sounds good to me, Clifford. You're up. Do you own a chisel?
