Watch out as we have had blue meanies putting tickets on cars parked on double yellows at 6am. I know you shouldn't park on double yellows but sometimes therre is nowhere else to put your car overnight...

Tell that to the toddler that gets mown down or the fire engine that can't get through. See if they sympathise with your plight.

The double yellows I am talking about run for ten feet at the very end of a cul-de-sac. There aren't any "toddlers being mown down" and fire engines would be daft trying to burst through a brick wall at the end of a street. Just traffic wardens making a killing from people who move their cars at a more reasonable hour.

Well someone should tell the Council as they have given themselves permission to park overnight on the double yellow lines outside the recycling centre, which are there to allow access to the fire station. Hypocritical thieves.

The double yellow lines are there for a reason safety wise. You're only allowed to park on them if you have a diabled card or if you're unloading, otherwise you shouldn't be there. The wardens have started earlier then 6am before! My mate had one timed at 4:50 once!! Double yellows are enforceable 24/7. Read the Highway Code.
