Wonder if this is the same one that was spotted in the car parking area outside The Pelham Arms this morning?

The Parrot Society have a register of lost and found birds. Ring John Hayward on 01869 325699 or email him jh@ntr.supanet.com to list the bird. Some birds are microchipped so it might be worth taking it to vet to be scanned.

Thanks all for your advice. I have phoned the RSPCA and think they will come and collect it tomorrow. I'll let them know that I have willing new owners in case it is appropriate to rehouse him at this stage. I will also contact John Hayward.
Heard that a parakeet was spotted in Leicester Rd. some days ago. The bird seems very tame (sits happily on your arm, back, etc) so quite amazing if it has lived on Lewes' wild streets without being eaten. My daughter just picked it up from the pavement.
