Painter and decorator wanted

Hello.

Does anyone know a good painter and decorator (or possibly even a small team)?

I need all the exterior woodwork done on a two storey four bed detached house. A small amount of the woodwork will need replacing as it's rotten so some small carpentry skills will be required too. There are veluxes in the roof so a roof ladder will also be needed.

I am price conscious. Any recommendations appreciated.

By "price conscious", does that mean you want it done cheap ? or, are you short of cash ?

The cost will be a factor in who I end up employing, but not the only consideration. I said that to filter out recommendations for expensive painters and decorators.

Or, Alan Cannings, recently retired, but still taking on occasional

Brilliant. You're raising the tone of this forum.
And indeed there will be time
To wonder, "Do I dare?" and, "Do I dare?"
Time to turn back and descend the stair,
With a bald spot in the middle of my hair--
(They will say: "How his hair is growing thin!")

@Reliable Plumber.

How did you extrapolate
"I want a top quality job done for f**K all"
from
"The cost will be a factor in who I end up employing, but not the only consideration."?

I hope you interpret your own customers' requirements a bit better than that. Luckily I already have a reliable plumber lined up for the heating work.

Forgive me, I'm new to this. Why are people posting random lines from TS Eliot on a thread requesting details of a painter and decorator? Is it to try and show how well read they are? How very Lewes!

Did an excellent external window repair/repaint + walls + guttering job for us a couple years back, on time at the price agreed, best of 3 quotes.
