Given the temperature outside this may be fruitless, but I must try as our new year is about to start on a very sad note. Our 9 month tomcat 'Skitter' has been chased away by a local tomcat. He is a small short haired tortoiseshell cat (a tabby) with white paws and chest. he was last seen on Prince Edwards Road in a hissing match on December 28th. If anyone sees a young cat they don't recognise please call me on 470 467. Or if anyone haas found a dead young cat please let us know also so I can break it to the kids.

I do hope that your kitten can be found alive and well.
Will keep my eyes peeled and will spread the word.
Good Luck!

Haven't seen Skitter but hope he returns. With nine months it's likely that he's out looking for some yummy felines and he might come back. My friends and sisters cat (both toms) disappear for a week from time to time. They always find a warm spot so I wouldn't be too concerned about the cold. Thoughts are with you and kids, if you organise a serach party I'm in.

I would ask neighbours to check shed, garages etc. One of our cats came back after 10 days very hungry, after my wife put up notices and asked people to check out-buildings. Given this cold weather he may have gone for a wander, found a nice shed and then canot get out. Hope he turns up.

I saw a cat this afternoon I had not seen before on Pelham Terrace near the Pells Pond. Was young, with dominant brown / orange colouring and two bells. Not sure if this sounds at all familiar

Thank you for those words. We did a poster campaign today with somone which immediately yielded somone having spotted Skittter, or a skitter lookalike two days ago behind Leicester Road. Hopefully we are getting close to getting him home...

Thanks for all the feedback - Sadly he's still not found. I have posted some shots of him here - periscopeprojects.com/skitter/skitter.htm
