Our Christmas Tree

Just a thought:
Seeing as the Council blow all our money on other things and there's never any money left to decorate the big tree, couldn't we organise a sort of "flash mob decoration" thing and actually just go down there one night and stick all our unwanted decorations on it?
A flask of mulled wine, mince pies, someone could supply a stepladder and who knows, it might come out alright and a new tradition is born.

I think it has now become a tradition to have really really awful decs in the Town chaps so it would be difficult to change a liketime of c**p decs for Lewes x

It is mostly crap, but I thought the town hall looked rather pretty when I was sat waiting for the lights to change at the top of School Hill last night.
Loving the guerilla-type tree decorating mission though.

Sorry to disappoint you, but several of did this a couple of years ago... and no-one seemed to notice!
I have my eyes on a different target this year, so let me know if you spot it.

I think the snail by the tunnel is supposed to a rolled-up squid called an ammonite - presumably a reference to Cretaceous rocks hereabouts
