Does anybody know where the old buses in town go? They seems to have been around for the last few weekends but I haven't seen any bus tours advertised.

Saw lots of them today would it be something to do with art wave?
Lots of folk queuing at the stops and several old ones at the bus garage.

They're Seaford & District vintage buses between Lewes and Eastbourne on the 124 route. Today was a special charity day in aid of Macmillan Cancer care for donations - no fares, with buses running half hourly to Eastbourne and back at the same intervals. Also buses to and from Newhaven. Very nice travelling through the countryside on an open top bus while helping support a great cause too.

Such a shame these events aren't well publicised.

Thanks Bus rider. I've got to agree with Sue - if I'd known about it I'd definitely have gone.

Yes agree a good cause and a chance to go on the top deck of an old open top bus would have been a good way to speed a bank holiday.
