Has anyone heard the latest about whether Norman Baker is still trying to block the amendment to the EUropean Fuel Quality directive that would essentially price dirty Canadian tar sands out of the forecourts of Europe? Last I heard, he decided to vote against the bill, along with Netherlands. Surprise, surprise, they're the base of BP and Shell who are major tar sands players in Canda.
If he does, his reputation as environmentalist would be in tatters.
