Halfway through watching the second part of the triffids, our signal disappeared. Anyone else having problems or do I have to get up to the roof?

Why do those of us who live in the Newhaven transmitter area put up with this second rate service. Apart from the problems with the anologue signal we cant get Freeview either. Is it not time that we complained about being 'Second Class TV Citizens.

We thought it was our tv that had packed up but only missed about five minutes by watching it live on my laptop on the BBC site. But as TDA said Rubbish.

How do you manage to watch live TV on your laptop?
Was it the I Player?
I thought you could only watch programmes after they have been transmitted...

It surprised me too. Google bbc tv 1 and you'll find a 'watch live' place on the site. Makes you wonder why anyone bothers with the licence. Are BBC trying to cut their own throats?

Now that is handy.
You can also watch all the other BBC channels from the drop down box on the right of the home page.
It does say also that you still need a TV license to watch it.
ITV also has a live player but it is a bit unreliable and so full of adverts...
Nice one Bunter!

Doesn't everybody have to go over to digital soon anyway?
