If anybody from Newhaven reads this, can they say if the Crest development, Hillcrest Road was:
A): ever finished?
B): received retrospective building regs?
C): has tenants yet?
D): are they from disadvantaged groups?
E): are there ongoing issues with the condition of the building?
Thanks for this.
Just following up a press release and this would be very helpful.

It was a serious question if anyone can help.
Also, it weirdly looks like a post has been removed.
Did anyone see it?

@Having a nosey. The Crest development was bought by the District Council for short term housing for families who would otherwise have been accommodated in bed and breakfasts. It was scheduled to have been completed in February this year. I'm afraid I don't know for sure that it's in use now - but I have no reason to believe it's not. Speak to LDC's press officer on Tuesday if you want confirmation for a press release.

Thanks John. I will. It's good that as a Councillor, you answer here directly. I was just curious how it all panned out.
I'm currently doing studies on social housing and stumbled on this project through a press release.
This sounded like it was a forward thinking purchase and wanted to find out a bit more.
It's only one local example I am using but I'm grateful for the extra details.
