Lewes Arms. Did anyone even know it was NYE in this pub? (And why don't they turn the lights down, it's as bright as an operating theatre in there).
The Lamb. The incessant beat stopped briefly for an embarrassed half-arsed Auld Lang Syne but then began again 5 seconds later.
Lansdowne. Excellent.... but the band stopped 3 minutes after we arrived.
It's the Lansdowne all night next year for me.

What was all that noise last night? Fireworks, people shouting. I thought I'd have a nice early night but got woken up around midnight.

FA - Surely a bit of music and a clock ding donging 12 times isn't beyond the realms of the average pub landlord's imagination....
