I just 'upgraded' my iphone to iOS 6.01 and discovered some interesting things on the Apple Maps apps. It seems the Kings Head has been transported from Southover to The High St; as has Argos; The Fruiterers has reopened and there's a Turkish food market in Court Rd. We've got a brand new pub called the Thurlow Arms in town and an extra curry house called the Rofique Tandoori next to it. Jeez I head the maps app was bad but this is beyond a joke.

Excellent - never thought the Fruiterers would re-open! Extra pubs and a new curry house, sounds worth the upgrade!!

I remember Rofique and the Gunpowder Plot. A bonfire themed restaurant seemed like a great idea for Lewes, surprised it didn't stay open for longer. I seem to remember that the guy who ran it was really nice too.

The man that ran the Gunpowder Plot was a great bloke. The first time I met him was when I was walking past the restaurant just after it opened, and he ran out to say hello and offer me a free meal because there was a photo of me in the window!
