Vera, yes you're right, some people are more unfortunate than others and have to go on the dole, I have done so myself.
Why ask 'is it crap?'?
Spark's attitude seems reluctant to do something which may require a little effort and is obviously there to help people prepare for and find work.
I have an issue with people begrudging to help themselves get work, my point was choosing not to help yourself get back to work, being on the dole and doing little about it makes you a bum.

The New deal course is a brilliant opportunity for people if they use it to its full potential & make the most of the facilities offered. It usually involves a chance to try work in interesting environments that you may not normally feel able or confident enough to apply for & it can inspire some to seek out a career. The course gives practicle advice & help them to recognise there existing skills & potential & how to use these to persue a job they will want to secure. It is up to the individual what he/she takes from these courses, they can do it coz they have to & resent the effort involved because there is no extra money & they would rather bum around getting the jobseekers allowance doing nothing or they can grasp everything offered & run with it. This is why one has to question Sparks concerns about the course - surely any opportunity offered when you cannot get & job & are actively seeking one has to be worth a try.

CDG the one in Brighton above Jasons sandwich shop is full of jumped up little sh1ts. The tutors do not even follow the rules which are listed on various walls. i.e 15 min limit on PC's so not to hog the pc's, this rule is never followed and the chavs hog them all day!!! The chavs that go there just sit on the pc's looking at Youtube videos as thats the only social site available due to blocks put on sites like Facebook etc.
There was an older man who attended when I was there, he was in his 50's i think, maybe older, the abuse he recieved for turning up everyday in a suit was appaling and the tutors NEVER stood in when the chavs were laughing and joing about this old guy.
The tutors all talk like cockney sparrows "allwight geeza, wanna go maccy D's get me a appy meal?"
Lena Williams was the only woman there that did her job and helped people but she has now moved to the Eastbourne branch because of the ammount of abuse she was getting because she was good looking, i mean seriously good looking, long legs a chest that you just wanna shove your dick between...oooh yeh!...
I would advise you to go elsewhere for job hunting.
