Only joking! Well done Lewes, what a magical atmosphere. Didn't see any aggressive behaviour which is very unusual these days. I loved seeing the town alive with young people, and music everywhere. Anyone who moans here doesnt know they are born, maybe spend a weekend in Oldham, or Yeovil, or Barnsley, or Bideford to get a reality check. This really is a special place, no words are truer than those on the wall of the Lansdown.

Hear hear, magic weekend, great organisation, great mix of locals and visitors. Local businesses incorporated better than any festival I've ever been. The footprint is established now, 363 days to go until the next one

Agree totally. I didn't see a single incidence of trouble the entire weekend. Lewes was really buzzing. Lets do it again next year!

Credit where credits due I think.

Thank you Lewes District Council for enabling it to happen.
I personally would really like to see something like that every year.
A fantastic event for the whole town.

I went and thought the whole thing was great......
I admit I was sceptical beforehand and Mumford and Sons themselves are not really my cup of tea..... but I was won over. Some great bands, lovely atmosphere and glad to see all ages having fun. The whole thing was really well done considering we have not really had this kind of event before. They did mess up the entry on Friday, that was the only problem really. I'd love to see an event like this happening each summer.

So glad I didn't sell my ticket. A square metre would have been too much space anyway!
Bloody marvellous

Webbo, if it happens again next year, would it be possible to syphon off all the incessant requests for tickets, which have virtually blocked the forum for at least the past month, onto a separate site, so that the rest of us can carry on with our whingeing as per normal?
