Is there anyone old enough here to remember the graffitti that was along M.Rd Bridge ? This was way back in the late 60`s - I would have liked to photo it @ the time , but as a schoolkid couldn`t afford a camera . Just wondering if it made an impact on anyone , back in the day . It was just a simple statement writ large along the brickwork . It appeared overnight and remained for some time before British Railways cleaned it off .

I remember it had graffitti but not what it was. On the Lewes to Brighton Line one bit of graffitti that was there for ages said " Long Live the Rebel Spirit of The British Railway Worker" .
Don't recall where it was daubed... think the Brighton end?

"Art is the only thing that can take the place of human experience " - That`s what it said - sounds like it was by the same people who did the Rail Worker one ( I didn`t see that ) Good to hear that @ least someone remembers it

Just reading the above post and wondering why anyone would use the '@' symbol as an abbreviation of the word 'at'. Call me old fashioned, but if you have got time to press the shift key and the '@' key, you might as well just press the 'a' and the 't' keys.
People that say xmas annoy me too!
