In a time when things aren't too easy, when people are worried about their jobs, their mortages and pensions why oh why do people cause so much extra grief to others by mindlessly damaging cars, smashing wing mirrors, windows and even windscreens?

Sorry concerned, didn't realised I had used a similar moniker to yours when I posted a new thread. Please accept my apologies.
As regards damage to cars there was a break in to a car overnight on Thursday in Ringmer..........mindless I say.
Unfortunately we seem to live in times when strange people do strange things without thinking of the distress they cause to others!

Our car, parked properly, was keyed the other night, deeply scored right along the passenger side, on Watergat e Lane. What a worthless act! Ok, so it's a London-registered car, but were the vandals REALLY looking to vent rage only upon DFL-ers?

Plenty of Police (see outrageous share of council tax) but now it's a bit chilly they will all be in the cop shot nursing Bovril and writing Christmas cards (admin) Also no point looking for crimes they will never solve (bad for clear-up targets) I'm afraid we're stuck with mindless drunken yobs. I'm now on my 7th expensive door mirror, 2nd side window and 2nd door respray in 10 years.

There's a nice new police station. Probably with a nice warm canteen. And a gym. And a bar. It's so hard to leave it when it's cold outside.

My wing mirror is 'routinely' kicked in as a reflex from passing drunks. Top end of town.
