Yesterday afternoon (Friday) our dog, Stanley, went missing from our back garden. He's a black and white springer spaniel. One way you might be able to recognise him by is his clipped tail. We assume he's been stolen so please, if you see him contact one of these numbers:
(01273) 473550
or 07714298833
We'd be grateful if you keep your eyes open for him. Thank you.

Harry - Send the Sussex Express, and any other locally circulated publication, a short letter and a photo, I'm sure they will print it. The SE is good because it covers a large area and if the dog has been stolen from outside the area it increases the odds of it being found. Meridian News broadcast a story about a stolen dog a few years ago, which it turned out had been taken up to Kent. A keen eyed neighbour noticed a family with a new dog called the TV station and it turned out to be the missing one. Don't give up hope just yet.

Thanks everybody for your concerns but luckily we've just found him. Turns out he never even left the back garden! He was stuck in a narrow passage inside a broken tent between our house and our neighbours house.
Thanks anyway: juju, jrsussex, leaf

Bless, Dont blame you for being worried there has been a dramatic rise in the theft of working dog breeds in the last year.
So glad you have found him.

What a relief! Fancy the daft beggar not barking to let you know he was there.
