It looked fantastic. Sky as clear as a bell. Huge halo around a large pristine moon. Cold crisp frosty autumn night. I'm not certain i've ever seen the moon more clearly or more beautiful. The eclipse looked like someone had taken a hammer to the top right side of the moon and squashed it. There was also a strange horizontal line across the bottom of if earlier on. Twas amazing to see it across open countryside.
