So it is with both wonder and delight that I report DM Stone's 'Loss of Light' to be a hilarious, well-written read. Truly impressed.
And, no, I'm neither a friend of the author nor an employee of Amazon, just a deeply grateful reader. I wish her/him (though I suspect the author is a woman, for several reasons I shan't bore anyone with at present) great success on this and future endeavours and a happy Christmas in general.

This sounds like a great book and therefore one I may read in the future.

The constant Reader - thanks so much for your comments. They make everything worthwhile. You have absolutely made my Christmas. All the very best to you.
Thanks to everyone else too.
It's a relief to know that Lewes isn't like that. Phew!
Please review the book on Amazon if you can.

@DM Stone, done! Almost word for word the above, with slight warning of the dark nature of your satire... Again, well done and keep writing!

Thanks for the unexpected gift of the signed copy received in the post two days ago DM. I don't keep books and so I hope you won't mind if I give it to a friend for Christmas... spread the goodness as it were.
