If anyone ever needs a good local plumber-- David Tory is your man. Came over on late notice, presevered and stuck to it until job was done (way past tea time and beyond) and only charged reasonable hourly rate--no call out fee and no 'parts' as all he used was a washer and some putty. The job required inventiveness and patience and he delivered in spades. Most plumbers (to include my brother-in-law in States), would have given up and dictated buying a new toilet--but Dave was resourceful--solved the problem and no new porcelain required! Yay!
