Local Carpenter? - desperate for bookcase

Anyone know of a local carpenter who could make me a largish bookcase out of old wood before we disappear under a huge pile of books? I've given up trying to find one in the antique shops / eBay. It's a bit of an unusual shaped space and I want to make full use of the space (due to book addiction by self and husband).
We did have some fantastic ones made a few years ago by George Read in Firle but he is not returning my phone messages. Anyone know if he is still around?
