Hi Everyone,
I'm moving down to Lewes (well Offham) in the next few weeks but I still have a couple of weeks left on the contract that I'm working.
Does anyone reading this travel up to London in a car an would be prepared to take a passenger? I'm of course more than happy to contribute handsomely for fuel? Getting there and back for 9-5 office hours is what I'm looking for?
Looking forward to hopefully hearing from you lovely people.
Guy

I drive to Hanger Lane M, W and F. Would that be helpful?

Really appreciate your reply - can I come back to you?

If you are one of those blokes who gets pissed and throws bangers around when the rest of us are trying to sleep then it's probably best you leave anyway.

The pissed plebs are 'some' of the locals, the ones that many of the rest of us locals would be glad to see move to Ringmer or Peacehaven.

Thanks Town Flyer, I'm from the North Yorks Dales so I've got pretty thick skin - posting on any local forum is always going to attract an element of banter...
Offham and Lewes seem idyllic and I'm massively looking forward to the lifestyle change.

Aha, well done on ignoring the accusation of being a DFL!!
Hope it all works out for you, and yes, a Sussex life is pretty idyllic!

Welcome to Sussex, Guy. Offham is lovely, I've just enjoyed a beautiful walk into there this morning. We're technically 'DFL's' too (whatever that means, given one of us is from Kent and the other the midlands, but we work in London). We absolutely love it here in Lewes. Best decision we've made, even with the morons who have so little a world view that they use the term 'DFL' as an insult.
