Lib-Dem Rail Policy

"Lib Dems pledge to switch £3bn from road to rail" ....."the Liberal Democrats have promised to reopen thousands of miles of railway track and stations across the country in what they said would be the biggest expansion of the network since the Victorian era." Why has this not made more headlines? Despite all the other probable negatives of the party this one item is enough for them to get my vote, since the other parties seem to think public transport is a rock bottom priority.

I thought this was quite well publicised yesterday. Not a bad policy proposal from you know who, the transport spokesperson.

Can anyone point me in the direction of the actual detailed press release. I've seen newspaper articles, and station names, but are they just specualation? Thanks?
