Hi,
Myself and my girlfriend are looking to relocate to Lewes soon and were hoping to come and explore the town/surrounding area next weekend.
We appreciate given the current situation there will be limited shops/restaurants/venues open. But we just wondered if people might know any local businesses that are open (under cover conditions) which we could visit? (pubs, restaurants etc)
It would be great to find somewhere to have lunch if possible. There's probably extremely limited options given the current climate, but we thought we'd ask for some local intel.
Thanks a lot in advance!

There are plenty of places open for locals only, not outsiders.

Oh shut up Local99.
Most cafes in the centre of town are back open for takeaway during the day, as far as I’m aware all of the chain restaurants are still closed. Most of the shops in the town are open again but a lot seem to have reduced their hours, so expect places to start closing at around 4.
