Just received my postal vote envelope, and am puzzled to find that it only contains ballot papers for parliamentary and Lewes District, not Lewes Town. No mention in accompanying paperwork or on the LDC website. Anyone know if they're being sent out separately? I can't get to my voting station on the day...

I didn't think that the town council had elections. Isn't it just Lewes District and the general election?

Same in Castle Ward.
Town council voting list will be on a very large ballot paper because of the large number of candidates. Why should Lewes DC use one stamp when two stamps will do?
Probably coming separately. Postal voting definitelyapplies. However, papers do not have to be sent out until five days before the election.
Must be a funny job in electoral services. You go for a year or more without an election, and then three come along at once.

Well the Council sent every elector in my house a separate letter individualyl stamped (and probably every house in the ward) saying that after extensive consultation they were still going to use Western Road School as a polling station this year - so a letter to tell you to go the polling station on the poll card you were sent the day before....

I understand that postal vote papers for the town and parish councils will be sent out today. There was a delay at the printers.
