Lets face it though, nationwide, WH Smith conversions have been a disaster. Brighton lost 2 major Post Offices (Central & London Road)repaced with Churchill Square WH Smiths, an inadequate replacement; as is Uckfields. More government money keeping hedge funders afloat.... just like Boots!

My recent experience with PO's in shops has been dire. The staff just don't seem know what they are doing with anything out of the ordinary. I was trying to get a vehicle changed from Private-Light-Goods to Historic. They had no idea of what to do and in the end, have lost all my paperwork. This has meant applying for a fresh Registration document and starting all over again. This change can only be done at a post office (not sub) but such a thing with knowledgeable staff does not appear to exist in East Sussex any more.
