I could do a bit of clearing and shifting
Down the line I'm a classically trained chef and professionally trained fishing rod builder, also interested in learning new things from others

I checked it out and I'm wondering if all the men in the shed have names like Julie and Sarah?

As you well know Tom its illegal to have all male spaces so one has to assume it is an illuminati trap to root out the reactionary forces in society and distraçt them into hobbies.

Is this real, and are you real? If not I will more than gladly step out right now

How about a shed for all men, and other genders who wish to behave as men?

Thank you Teddy Zyvis - that is very kind
Sussex Jim - the shed is open to all genders - it is called The Men's Shed as we are part of the Men's Shed Association.
I don't get announcements telling me when this has been commented on unfortunately

Open to all genders - really? So why use a male-only name? This sort of male supremacy twaddle had, I thought, been scrapped a long time ago. I am surprised that Webbo allowed something with such an outdated attitude. Posters all, please do not do anything to encourage such an organisation.

I get your point IDM but also can't help but wonder how you view a women's refuge?

It's hard to know who's joking on here so I just assume everyone is.....

I agree David Stanley. You cannot be sure which posts are serious and which are jokes. Choosing which are which is essentially a matter of faith. In time, posters will understand each others' styles and so pick up on jokes. A simple way for the author to label something as not serious is to put "!" after it.

Horseman7: A unisex shed will probably function as efficiently as a men only one. But allowing men anywhere near a women's refuge would completely destroy the point of its existence. So, it has to be women only.
