At home to Thurrock tomorrow evening (Wednesday) kick off 7.45 at the Dripping Pan. They have a good group of mostly local lads playing now. The bar is open all game and drinks can be taken outside. Come and support the boys and the club.

And support the "Keep Martin Elliot out of bankruptcy court for another month" fund.
I'll support Lewes FC once he's out, not before.

I agree. Sorry rookie, i want to support the team, the club, and the other supporters, and the best way I can do this is boycott the club until they get rid of Elliot. I think the buzz word used to describe such egomaniacs is 'toxic'

Sorry guys got to disagree there. If only it did work that way. All boycotting does is push the CLUB closer to extinction. The only effect on Martin Elliot then is that it is one less headache for him. So you could in fact be doing him a favour by boycotting!!! He will just carry on with his businesses and there will no more Lewes FC.

Very entertaining game tonight. Two brilliant goals. Half a dozen misses. Great saves. 3 red cards. The opposing management getting sent to the stands, and Harveys.................great stuff. You lads missed a treat.

Sounded like a great game, wish I'd gone. What's the entrance £ now?
Nearly all football directors are egomaniacs/nutters/crooks. Why else would you become one? It must be endless grief, gossip, problems on+off pich and outrageous wages. What do you get in return - really?

Or read the latest 'its not my fault' whinge from Elliot in the Sussex Express.
He is now blaming the Taxman for the fact that he has spent OUR money, instead of making sure LFC pays its tax, as required, from money supporters paid in tickets. Previously blamed were King, Fans, Debtors etc etc.
I am afraid that I also would like to support LFC, but cannot do so whilst someone is in charge who keeps blaming everyone else except himself. There is a word for someone who condones spending money that is not theirs to spend, and to my mind it applies here. saying 'oh all clubs are the same' is insulting to those that aren't, and hardly an excuse!
Following that logic I think I will stop paying my tax, hire a cleaner, and extend my house with the money and then see what happens. After all it is a good investment, in my house, which will get dirty, and be smaller, unless I do this.
