The NOC used to meet at the 6 Bells, Chiddingly but i never went because i heard they are a bunch of Commando owners.. and we all know what that means! The Sunbeam MCC meet there too, and although primarily pre 1930 they do cater for later stuff, and anything is welcome on their Club night runs. There is a car lot who meet at the Anchor in Ringmer, but i'm not sure when so can't help much there either. Have you tried VMCC - don't know where they meet.
If you are serious about Lewes BMC you might want to include car drivers too (Lewes Classic and vintage vehicle club maybe?) I'm up for it.. but as ever will give you the usual excuses about being short of time due to family commitments / other hobbies etc...
Keep us posted..!
