Just wanted to make you all aware - in case you weren't already - there is a young-ish (maybe early to mid-30s) 'lady' approaching people in the South Street area, claiming to have had her car break down/needs money to get the train etc. I have been hailed down by her a couple of times in town or near the station and just been polite and walked away, but she seems to be expanding her MO and approaching individuals when they are coming in/out of their homes, receiving deliveries etc. She became quite annoyed when I told her she had approached me before for money on a couple of occasions and claimed she was only asking for directions. Very obviously an addict, which is sad, but she seems to be getting more bold/desperate for funds.

Although to be fair, if it was this woman, she was wearing a lot more make up when I saw her yesterday and looked a bit less messed up, almost tidy.

Of course they won't, what did they do about the protests in London a while back? Treated them with kid gloves, no kettling, no... more
