Has anyone found (or heard about) a pair of silver & purple MicroScooters which were left behind by mistake in a bay in Friars Walk Car Park yesterday afternoon, Thursday 7 August? We drove away without remembering to load them into the car.
Two sad scooting kids hope someone can help. Thank you.

Have you tried Lewes Police Station?
Its obvious I now but you'd be surprised at how many people don't make them their first port of call.

Thank you everyone, this has been a helpful and supportive thread. Yes, I had already been in touch with the police and have now heard that the scooters can be picked up from Eastbourne tomorrow, so two kids are going to be delighted. Extra-special thanks to Helpful Dad for the happy ending - you're a star!

Oh. So Our police station was built in Lewes, to transport lost Lewes property to Eastbourne! WTF!
Hopeful, get angry! we have spent a LOT of money building a police station. It should be used for more than transporting lost Lewes Items to Eastbourne.
Are the police supposed to work for us? Make a police officer return them to your house, it does not matter if there was a crime involved. They work for us as public servants. (and we don't give them much other work in Lewes but we do PAY them.

Lewes person - you`re spot on ! But it is a symptom of modern admin . I recently tried to hire a tool - found that the "hub " for E.Sx. is Crawley - so everything has to come from there . It is similar for other building suppliers . The delivery vehicles are travelling miles crossing each other because of "The Hub ". So I postulate this is applied to some degree to the Police .And , dare I say , the NHS ( Eastbourne/hastings fiasco )

Time to draw a line under this, from my point of view at least, with a very happy outcome to it all. Two helpful policemen have just delivered the scooters to me personally so I don't need to go over to Eastbourne. Result: delighted kids, relieved mum, eternal gratitude to Helpful Dad!
