Is there an indoor kids' play centre in Lewes apart from the one at the swimming pool?

Whats the problem, I hear SCHOOLS are located on ROADS!!!!!! WOW, how can we wrap our children up in cotton wool and protect them this EVIL?????
What if one ran out in to the road???
Thats it please sign my petition to get all schools moved at least 300m away from any roads.
Not everyone is as thick as you "worried Parent" and most can keep control of their children in a short 10m walk from a car to building. Each Unit at the Industrial estate has its own parking, thus lorries won't be turning anywhere near the children, WHO WILL BE INSIDE.

hi homer would you build a school on an industrial estate bet you would you plank great if the mums would look after the children and they dont park in the car park they park just any where most mums do keep hold of the kids but some just let them wander so stuff that up your jacksy

Must admit "worried parent" that i found your response a little alarmist. There's a carpark outside and if kids are supervised properly, there should not be any cause for concern.
It's not exactly a major ind. est so it's not like you're getting 38 tonners zooming past all day. As mentioned, certainly no more dangerous as then taking the kids to any of the primary schools in Lewes.

Nice punctuation too.
Your parents were obviously too worried to send you to those nasty schools!

And in reply to your question No I wouldn't build a school in an industrial estate. HOWEVER if I was looking for a large building with cheap rent or business rates to open an indoor play area, then YES an industrial estate would be on my list of location.
I don't supose you do but... Do you have any idea how much a building that size would cost to run in the (flood pron) Cliffe or central Lewes?

Jesus (not so) worried parent...you're going a bit OTT don't you think. If one of your kids gets run over, it'll be your fault for not having proper control over them.....and, after your chavvy has been flattened, if all you can say is "i told you so" then you shouldn't be allowed to breed AT ALL

I've taken my daughter along to the industrial estate (monkey business) and she had a great time. As for traffic it's never been that busy when i've driven there and the fact they have their own car park i found it pretty safe. I think most of the big lorries must go first thing in the morning or later in the day. When the kids are in there they have security on the door so the kids cant just run out and come to any harm. It's a pitty they did'nt have something like this for the older kids, climbing, gym equipment, contact sport with instructors and funded by the council that would get alot of the bored kids of the street. (just my thoughts).

I care about your grammer because it would make your posts so much easier to read. I don't much care for your attitude, I think it stinks, but continue to Ramble on if you feel the need.
Q) Will you "tell me so" if a child gets run over on any road by a school or just out side the Industrial estate play centre?

I came on here as there was a reference to Monkey Business and was trying to find out about it. What kind of people are you? There is so much hate in the world these days and to add to it you are having petty 'arguements' on the web. How very SAD - get out with your kids NOW!!!

i really can't understand what the fuss is about worried parent if you don't like it don't take your kids there but don't try to dictate to others what they should and shouldn't do and where they should and shouldn't go! at the end of the day a lorry is massive and your child stands more chance of getting hit by a car in tesco's car park where cars move without much warning most lorries these days i believe are fairly noisey and/or beep when reversing that to you as a parent should tell you to keep your child close to you and get them inside safe and quickly if you cannot do this maybe you shouldn't have kids!

I think you should be a little more concerned about your own behaviour than that of your children and them running around in car parks.

TO ALL ---- why oh why must it just be mothers taking the children out, what about grand parents and single dads, are you saying its just females that take chirdren out, well thats what it sounds like to me. At least the kids have fun, we are all aware its not the best place so if you have a big garden maybe you could put it forward as a site to have it.
