What's with the numerous dog walkers around malling recreation ground who do the old 'wander ahead of my dog, not looking at it leaving deposits everywhere, would have picked it up had I noticed' routine?
Where are the enforcement officers?

I see it all the time, people just looking straight ahead of them totally oblivious to where their dog is or what it's doing. Mind you, i WILL remind them if i see their dog dumping and not picking it up.
Some people seem to put dogs way above humans in the pecking order. Can't understand that.
Oh, i'm a dog owner by the way.

Agreed old cynic , but many dog owners are oblivious to its behaviour . So many just open their doors to let the dog jump up or worse I'm not a dog lover or hater , but I have been bitten often for no reason other than its the selfish owners and not the animals fault , why do you think I want t be introduce to your pet ? , I also accept there are some very good owners too

I'm a dog and a regular reader of this site. I'd prefer it if you didn't use the word 'owner'. We prefer to see humans as our companions.

Can they also pick up their sh'*ite from the corner of riverside and forfars roadway. Consistently see fresh dog dirt there in the mornings. Not nice

If I hear a dog barking upon ringing a doorbell, I hold my toolbox in front to cushion the inevitable "welcome".
