Would love to know where your local is and if they are an Enterprise tied pub (or similar).
I also think that there are some bargains to be picked up around town. Terry's fish shop is very reasonable, again, Beckworths has some good deals, with meats cheaper and better than the supermarket. If you're after booze, the Gardeners is probably the cheapest place in town then the others are much of a muchness, excluding our cider the rest of our prices are some of the cheaper ones in town.

I complained to the ice cream man at Devil's Dyke last year. I'd taken my parents up there and his horrible diesel engine rumbling away ruined a completely idyllic afternoon.
