Clue is in the title. Clueless, rude & extremely ignorant people on this forum who are clearly bored with their lives. Administrator to note.

Some of the contributions to this thread are ridiculous. The original poster seems quite clear and I'm sure they are pursuing other lines of enquiry but thought there is nothing to lose by posting on here as well. They had not counted on some of the people on here insulting them. Stig. What on earth makes you think they are incapable of getting through life because of their post? Blatant liar. Why should they be expected to post the private matter of the rent at this point? I think ariverrunsthroughit summed you all up pretty well. At least when I am bored and want to talk to the world I try to come up with something a bit more positive that might at least encourage more debate. You seem to be trying to close it down.

No, the original post wasn't obvious. It wasn't clear whether he or she wanted to rent or was renting out - particularly with the phrase 'excellent condition throughout with garden' as if this was description of the property. This isn't a small ads column where we have to pay by the word so a few more words might have made things clearer.

Fair point basil. I was just irritated by the utterly senseless responses. Also fair point Sussex Jim. Please start an interesting post.

Presumably you are rich enough to be able to search for goods and services regardless of price
With most people the price is the most important aspect, hence I live here not Belgravia

I didn't realise you were making a genuine enquiry blatant liar. Could I suggest a more conciliatory approach to a prospective landlord.
