To the man in the little car who decided I wasn't allowed over Cliffe bridge on my bike this morning - are you ok? Perhaps you need new glasses, or driving lessons, or a stress-reducing weight-loss keep-fit regime?
You seemed to believe I shouldn't have been going over the bridge, on the left, by the bollards, but rather that I get off and walk, or cycle on the pavement. I'm not too sure really. But you did stop in front of me and then had a little think and eventually decided I could continue on my way.
Hmmm. Was it a heavy night perhaps? Anyway, I wish things improve for you, chin up and have a lovely day.

I'm pretty certain that the weight of a driver, within reason, has little bearing on their ability to drive. Weight is key in competitive motor racing, but for every day driving, someone overweight will be on average just as crappy or as good as someone who isn't overweight.

@ LOL. The guy deserves to be scrutinised for his driving ability, not have the piss taken out of him because of his weight or generalisations made about overweight people.

Yep, I've had cars swing across my path and block me when I'm cycling west along Cliffe, and drivers yelling at me (when it's they who are acting illegally - they haven't seen either the Pedestrian Zone notice or the Bikes Both Ways one). The Council says that the notices at the end of Railway Lane have to be so high up because otherwise pedestrians would hit their heads. The signs should really be at ground level so that vehicles have to edge past them, making it safer for pedestrians. But pigs'll fly before that.......

I imagine Pedr0 is pretty fat, that'll happen when you spend all your time in your mum's basement getting stoned and typing drivel on the internet. His stance on this thread would seem to confirm that.

@ "fatty boom boom" - actually, cannabis is a wonderful stimulant for ones metabolism. I've never put on any weight vaping, and in fact lost about half a stone since I started - despite occasionally succumbing to the munchies! I weigh 11 and a half stone and am just over 6ft tall just in case you were interested, which I guess you are since you like to talk about me.
My "stance" on this thread therefore is because I'm not a jerk. Ok, that sounded almost as american as you implying I live in my parents "basement".
