Don't forget its the Harveys Depot Consultation Meeting tonight at the Depot in Pinwell road from 6pm until 8pm.
If you want to make sure the developers know how you feel get down there and tell them. You never know there might be the odd planner there too but somehow I doubt it.
I'll see you there.

I think we should all face facts here....the population is growing rapidly and whether we like it or not, more housing will be needed...personally I think people should be limited to having 1 or 2 children ESPECIALLY if they are not working and rely on the state...
I am feeling rather grim at the moment...rising food and fuel prices, increasing population, increasing pollution and global warming (which does exist by the way....take a look at some time relapse pictures of ice flows and glaciers)....as a human race we are heading for meltdown if we don't learn to live more simply

Hmmmm... given the high proportion of people who don't have ANY children, we need those who do to have plenty so that they can pay enough tax to give us decent pensions when we retire.

Yes but those who do have lots of children tend (dare I say it) to be rather thick and not paying their way in society.....the pensions crisis is due to people living much longer (although personally I may shoot myself before I end up a vegetable in a nursing home just kept barely alive by drugs)...

If you do go, have a close look at the document they give you for comments. The questions are very leading and contrived so it's best to put what you think (positive or negative) without being trapped in their box. I've kept a copy to send directly to LDC as I don't completely trust developers who think East Sussex District Council (that's what they say) is the local planning authority.

It's a Martin Elliot project so get down there and give him as uncomfortble time as possible. And if you got a Lewes Fc shirt then wear it.

Yes to Tower Blocks, lets make Lewes "Tower Hamlets" on the Downs. Lets change Cliffe into a covered precinct and swap Waitrose for Lidl, lets ensure all local business fail and the local school is full of single mums and criminals, lets make people feel uneasy walking the streets at night. Lets have a bigger queue at the dole office than at Bills, lets have a unprecedented disrespect for all and sundry, lets refuse to work and apply to go on Jeremy Kyle. On second thoughts lets all move to Newhaven.
