Some people who use the new 5-a-side pitches besides the Dripping Pan are parking their cars along the Ham Lane perimeter fence. This forces other road users to drive in the shocking potholes on the priory side of the road.
Please have a bit of consideration next time.
Thank you.

I blame the football club for installing the pitches but not providing parking for users.

Why doesn't the football club just ask Priory School to keep their car-park open at weekends?

Why don't the council
a. Paint double yellow lines, and
b. Fix the massive holes
This is a nasty accident waiting to happen. Someone will end up on the ditch.

There is the matter of if it is actually an adopted road, I seem to have a feeling it is not all adopted, and that maybe a fact

I must say I've not been inconvenienced by the 5 a side users but have been caught out when the schools are having an inter schools competition and the verge is completely taken up with parked vehicles. On a seperate issue, has anyone noticed that there is always a puddle of varying sizes at the entrance to the Priory School car park? It is even there when it hasn't rained for months. It's been there for years, I would be really cross with myself if it turns out to be a burst water main and I hadn't reported it after all this time.

Last thing I heard, nobody could agree who was responsible for Ham Lane. One of the councils reluctantly filled the pot holes but I don't think that the ownership issue was ever resolved.

Surely the council must have know when they built a tip at the end of it. You wouldn't just assume it was ok to use the road without knowing who it belonged to! Likewise Southern Water.
