Anyone seen one doing its stuff locally, now that snow is forecast?
Brighton & Hove council were gritting at 9.30 this morning, and not just main roads, they were doing side roads streets in Kemptown. Got back to Lewes about 12.30, still no sign of them having done any roads up this end of town.
Let's hope it doesn't last (rare for me to say that, I love snow), I've got visits I really have to do on Monday and I'll need to get the car off the lofty heights of the Nevill.

Coming back from Brighton on the bus this evening, I saw a snow plough out in the Falmer area. Do they know something we don`t?

Friars Walk had been done on Friday night - if you look closely at the side of the pavement you can see the grit next to house walls and in the gutters on the road.

I saw gritting lorries driveing down the hill past Mill Road. They both had snow plough attachments on the front, which was a bit alarming. I#m fully expecting not to be able to open my fornt door for the drifts in the morning.
