I had an ancestor that lived in Green Walk, Lewes in 1861. I'm not sure it still exists. Not had any luck googling it. Any Lewes historians that can help??

Is it Green Wall you're looking for? It won't come up on Google maps but houses come up for sale. It's at the end of Little East Street/beginning of Phoenix Causeway. Hope that helps.

There's a Green Lane between St Swithun's Terrace and St Martin's Lane - a really small twitten. Could that be it?

In a recent FB post on Lewes Past a person was also asking about their ancestor who lived in Green Walk. It turned out Green Wall just looked like Green Walk on the said census.

Green Wall is the alley between the end of Wellington Street and Little East Street, parallel to Waterloo Place. If you google earth man to the end of Wellington Street you can seen the "Green Wall" sign on the wall.
