Who put the "con" in the Con Club - LOL
In an effort to disguise its Tory heritage and maintain a crisp, snappy streetwise title the Conservative Club has changes its name to "Con" - what is this REALLY an abbreviation of?
Discuss...

Who are Slimshack or the Contenders. Are they well known?

Well known locally - Contenders fill the Snowdrop whenever they play - every 5 or 6 weeks - Slimshack more Brighton based - seen them twice in Lewes - good support in the Volley in the Summer - R'N'B (errh PROPER R'nB - sixties stylee) then Bluesy evening - but both great local bands - give it a try - nothing to lose - Lopster will be seen socialising with both bass players

Sounds good although the Contenders attract that local groupie woman with the "punch and judy" face!!!
