Come on contributor's where's the vitality and exitement gone on this site - is Lewes rolling over and dying? Will we all eventually become "not in Lewes anymore" What is going on with the Falmer debacle - are we still hassling Anne De Vecchi and her money wasting cronies? Is Waitrose going to give up its site in Lewes to Iceland or Asda and please us all? Has our illustrious MP stopped knocking 4x4's? Perhaps new whizzy software is the answer - or is it just that time of year? Flood Defences topical now surely? Any juicy council meetings happened recently (perhaps not as they're saving up for the Save the Village Pond campaign)...

This site is dying on its a**e.
To have an enjoyable and active forum you must have a selection of people offering differing views on the same subject. On this forum you have a cartel of right wing bigots who are not prepared to accept any other point of view other than their own and if you dare to upset the status quo they are not averse to putting your address in the public domain.
You get the forum you deserve and I think that Lewes deserves more than this.

I doubt it mick as it's not me who keeps running away. Hang around a bit longer this time. You were a worthy opponent 'till you had a hissy fit last time (and let's keep the swearing down, if you can).

Those of us of a liberal, artistic bent are prone to throwing our toys out of the pram when involved in dialogue with people obviously of a lower standing and therefore unable to see the pure logic of our discourse.
I will endeavour to remember with whom I am conversing in the future and revert to views more akin to those found in an Essex drinking den.
