I am the co-director of a film that will be screening at the Depot Cinema in Lewes on the 23rd Jan. Itís a film that depicts a year in a Sussex garden using time-lapse footage and real-time footage and interviews with the gardeners. It was screened on BBC4 in the Autumn where it received great reviews in most of the national press.
The film is called "Flicker & Pulse" (A Year in an English Garden).
It is very rare to be able to see the film in a cinema and we will be showing the film in 4K, which is a super high resolution. We have never screened it in 4K before, because there arenít many cinemas in the country with the ability to do so.
My co Director, Tom Wichelow, and I will be doing a Q&A after the screening.
Might this be something of interest to you and your members? The garden is just outside Lewes in Barcombe and is a 300 year old walled garden.

Thanks for the heads-up Brian, glad to hear Lewes has a rather special cinema - somebody behind the Depot made some good decisions. And the film sounds quite an achievement.

Make sure you wrap up warm, it's like being outside in screen 1.

What a shame I only saw this tonight. Do let me know if you are screening it again as members of Lewes and District Garden Society would be very interested in seeing it.
