Don't be fooled by their statement that they won't need to actually fracture the rock to extract it. It's the pushing wastewater back into the rock which causes the earthquakes and the same wastewater that pollutes the groundwater.

It's been going on for long enough in USA to demonstrate this. See Wyoming and EPA reports.

I support fracking.
What else are my grandkids going to use for fuel when the rest has run out?

If we continue with fossil fuels your grand children will have a lot more to worry about than a preference for gas and oil based energy.

Worry not about resources, there's so many different - small scale alternative sources of energy that could sustain the domestic and small scale industrial needs of society. All that is lacking is the will to finance these enterprises.

Really - your grandkids will probably use a mixture of storage backed renewables, including solar, wind, tide, geothermal, biogas and maybe others. Possibly nuclear fusion, but don't hold your breath on that. They'll have all the energy they reasonably need at reasonable cost, probably much less than we pay. On the other hand, their world wil be in big trouble because of the fossil fuels we burned and they'll be angry. If angry doesn't really do justice to what they'll feel. I really shouldn't ever admit to them that you supported fracking.
