Found a lost dog

Just found a lost dog, near Southover Grange Gardens. It is black, small retriever type. Young and friendly, noone nearby recognised it and it was wandering into traffic on Southover High St. It has an old blue collar, no name or address tag, no lead. The dog warden will collect later this evening, but if you know who is looking for such a dog, let them know.

Does the Dog respond to the name Henry?
If so then keep it.. No I didn't mean to say that.
Maybe if no one comes forward & it isn't Luke's perhaps I can put myself forwards to looking after him/her?

LDC dog warden came and collected him last night and instantly established that he was microchipped, so took him away to trace the owner. Hopefully a happy ending! Thanks for the responses.
