The fishmongers in Riverside, selling fresh fish off their Newhaven boats plus a range of other fishy things, is thinking of closing! No fishmonger in Lewes - that would be awful. The fish is zingingly fresh, and Newhaven fleet needs our support. Please do copy this to any local forums - thank-you.
(I posted this before but it didn't hit the news-stands - here's another try)

That would be really sad, been a fishmongers in Riverside for 25 years. Always beautifully fresh fish from the boats at Newhaven, under 9 miles away. I wonder how old supermarket fish is and how far it's traveled to get to the store. I bet it wasn't in the sea the day before, more like a week before. In fact even on the fish counter in Waitrose a lot of the fish has been previously frozen (look at the price labels) so not even fresh as you would expect. You may as well buy from the freezer cabinet
